A presentation for Liberty Ventures Network in March 2025.

As the season shifts into spring, we’re invited not only to refresh our homes but to renew our minds, our work, and our sense of purpose. This theme came alive during the recent Liberty Ventures webinar, where values-aligned leaders gathered to explore the paradox of leadership in a rapidly changing world.

At the heart of the conversation was a deep acknowledgment: great leadership today is not just about driving results—it’s about embodying integrity while navigating fear. Fred and Christina, two thoughtful and seasoned leaders, illuminated this paradox beautifully.

Fred, a long-standing pillar in the community, and Christina, a rising voice with a grounded presence, offered perspectives that felt both timely and timeless. They discussed how true leadership means allowing space for vulnerability without sacrificing the clarity of one’s values. Especially in times of uncertainty, it’s easy to default to control or performance. But integrity calls for something different. It asks for alignment. For presence. For courage.

Christina’s pre-recording reflection set the tone—spring as a metaphor isn’t just poetic; it’s practical. It invites us to consider what needs cleaning not only externally, but within our organizations and ourselves. What habits, roles, or fears have collected like dust? What new possibilities are beginning to bloom beneath the surface?

As the webinar unfolded, a compelling throughline emerged: leadership isn’t a title, it’s a practice. It’s a commitment to showing up fully—sometimes unsure, but always honest. In a world that rewards speed, this conversation was a reminder that slowing down to examine our intentions may be the most radical form of leadership there is.
